Teams from the University of Bonn at the "SPIEL 2026" trade show
Playing or researching – or studying? At the University of Bonn, all of these are integrated into the academic experience. As part of SPIEL 2026 in Essen, researchers and students will present their research on (board) games as well as their own game ideas and developments.
Games are also gaining increasing importance in academic contexts – whether in research, as innovative teaching formats, or in the field of science communication. In addition, games are being developed commercially for the market. The trade show presence is organized by the Transfer Center enaCom and the Bonn Lab for Analog Games and Imaginative Play.
The University of Bonn will be at booth "1 1E520" at SPIEL 2025. Those interested can visit the fair from October 22–25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.); see the ticket link below.
Would you like to develop a game, too, and do you have an idea for one? We can offer advice and connect you with others: Get in touch with us!
