The University of Bonn has a dual career program for appointed professors (as well as for newly appointed junior academics with their own research group), which is intended to make it easier to successfully combine career and partnership/family in individual cases. The search for a suitable position for the partner involves the University of Bonn and external partners from academia and industry.

There are also language courses and advisory services for further training (including checking application documents) and the development of individual career strategies. These include tenure track procedures. With the involvement of the Equal Opportunities Office, the faculty provides all necessary assistance with applications from suitable people with proven severe disabilities and persons with equivalent status.

Reimbursement of travelling expenses
