The European Research Council (ERC) has once again awarded 400 Starting Grants to scientists throughout Europe this year. The grants — totaling 628 million euros — support cutting-edge research across a broad spectrum, from medicine and physics to the social sciences and humanities.
We are delighted to congratulate our Professor Prof. Dr. Hildegard Kühne, Head of Multimodal Learning in Computer Science II Visual Computing, on receiving one of the coveted ERC Starting Grants for her project "GraViLa - Graphs without Labels: Multimodal Structure Learning without Human Supervision".
The Starting Grants 2023 were awarded to 400 researchers from 24 countries and are intended to support them in setting up their own teams and conducting research on the topics of their choice.
