  first birthday of the supercomputer “Marvin”. To mark this special da
 y\, the HPC team from the HRZ is organizing an event on the Poppelsdorf ca
 mpus together with the HPC/A Lab and TRA Modelling.\n\nThe program consist
 s of a welcome by Prof. Maren Bennewitz\, Vice-Rector for Digitization and
  Information Management and Scientific Director of the HPC/A Lab\, followe
 d by a lecture by the legend of parallel programming\, Timothy Mattson: 
 “The hitchhiker's guide to the future of HPC - processors\, people and p
 rogramming”\, as well as other exciting scientific lectures\, presentati
 ons\, a competition\, audience voting and an award ceremony.\n\nWorkshops:
  The HPC@HRZ and HPC/A Lab team is also organizing workshops with Timothy
