DESCRIPTION:On 25 March 2025\, the Hochschulrechenzentrum will celebrate t
 he first birthday of the supercomputer ‘Marvin’ at Campus Poppelsdorf.
  To mark this special day\, the HPC team at the HRZ is organising an event
  together with the HPC/A Lab and TRA Modelling.\n \nThe programme consists
  of a welcome by Prof. Maren Bennewitz\, Vice-Rector for Digitalisation an
 d Information Management and head of the HPC/A-Lab\, followed by an invite
 d presentation by the legend of parallel programming\, Timothy Mattson: "T
 he hitchhiker's guide to the future of HPC - processors\, people and progr
 amming"\, as well as other exciting scientific talks\, presentations\, a c
 ompetition\, public voting and an award ceremony. \nWorkshops: The HPC@HRZ
  and HPC/A Lab team is also organising workshops with Timothy Mattson on t
