On foot
The institute is only a short 15 minute walk along Endenicher Allee away from Bonn Central Station.
Campus Poppelsdorf is a pedestrian zone. From Nussallee, follow the walking path to the left of the Geodesic Institute (Nussallee 17). From Endenicher Allee, walk past the Mensa's main entrance (Endenicher Allee 19) and take a left.
By bike
While Bonn is a bike-friendly city, bicycles may only be parked in the designated areas:
- at the bicycle stands around the buildings,
- in the bicycle-garage located in the basement of the lecture hall center.
Bicycles parked anywhere else will be forcibly removed.
Public Transport
Please take bus lines 604, 605, 606, 607 to Kaufmannstraße and follow the walking directions mentioned above.
By car
The university offers paid parking in direct vicinity to the institute:
- southwest of campus, close to the Autobahn, accessible via Endenicher Allee
- on both sides of Nussallee
Please note: Vehicles without a valid parking ticket will be towed without warning. Tickets are available from machines adjacent to the parking spots.
