Workshop Format
In keeping
with the spirit and format of a workshop, USE 2002 will have a highly
discursive nature, with presentations
in the morning and different theme-based discussion tracks (breakout groups)
in the afternoon. We plan to allow slots of 20 minutes for each paper
selected for presentation (with 8 minutes for the presentation itself
and 12 minutes for dicussion). The paper presentation will be followed
by an overview of the received submissions intended as a starting point
for identifying topics for breakout
groups.

Workshop Format FAQ
Is the
subscription to the workshop open to all, or only to authors of accepted
papers?
Attendance
at the workshop is by invitation based on acceptance of a submitted
position paper or full paper.
How many
authors per accepted paper may attend the workshop?
The total
number of participants will be limited to about 20 to facilitate fruitful
discussions. How many authors can be accepted per paper depends on the
number of submitted / accepted papers. So we cannot say before the deadline
for notification of acceptance or rejection whether
it will be possible to let more than one author attend. But this should
not discourage your submission ;)
