| After my study of computer science and economics at the
University of Rostock, University of Aberdeen and University of Bonn I
received my
Diploma (~M.S.) in 1999 and my Ph. D. in 2004. Currently I'm a research
associate in the Intelligent
Databases Group headed by Prof. Dr. R. Manthey.
My main research areas are query optimization problems, methods for
update propagation and for view updating, machine learning, active
databases, biological databases, logic programming and database theory.
