Additionally to the Institute library each department is equipped with a small library of its own (Abteilungsbibliothek or Handapparat). The student council as well offers a collection of textbooks.
Textbooks can also be found in the University wide library ULB Bonn. Furthermore the library at the Fraunhofer Institute in Birlinghoven has a considerably inventory on technical literature which can be accessed by Institute members as well as students of computer science.
The Hochschulschriftenstelle has to be contacted by PHD students, which are doing their doctorate at the University of Bonn and have to submit copies of their dissertation to the ULB in fulfillment of their publication obligations. Abteilungsbibliothek für Medizin, Naturwissenschaften und Landbau as the library of the institute for computer science will be closed. |
