The Institute has a comprehensive library concerning all areas of computer science.

Additionally to the Institute library each department is equipped with a small library of its own (Abteilungsbibliothek or Handapparat). The student council as well offers a collection of textbooks.

Textbooks can also be found in the University wide library ULB Bonn. Furthermore the library at the Fraunhofer Institute in Birlinghoven has a considerably inventory on technical literature which can be accessed by Institute members as well as students of computer science.
