The link below will redirect you to our user portal , where you will be able to change your Unix-password, your default shell under Unix, as well as your home directory. Just follow the instructions there.

Having problems with the preferences? Pleas epay attention to the following things:

• Depending on the changes you make, it may take up to an hour to apply them to our systems.
• Please be patient and wait for the site to finish loading, to guarantee that the script is executed properly.

An extensive overview of your account data, like UID, printing account and granted access permissions for different rooms, can be found in the User-Center. Basically it is an extension of the user preferences.

Security Hints

The https connection to our user portal (webportal.informatik.uni-bonn.de) is secure and authenticated by a server certificate signed by the certification authority of the University of Bonn. This certificate will be automatically accepted by most common web browsers, i.e. all those which trust the root certificate of Deutsche Telekom Root CA 2.
